Cable product data through an API.

Your system sends a cable's spec as JSON and gets the cable back as a 3D model within minutes, through an API. You pay per conversion, and only for what is delivered. The documentation is public.

The product

Spec in, 3D cable out.

Your system describes a cable's construction as a spec: conductor, insulation, shields, jacket, layer by layer. The generator checks it at once, builds the cable from it and delivers it through the API. Nobody on our side has to do anything.

    A GLB file for shops, configurators and viewers.

  • Cross-section drawing

    The cross-section with all layers as an SVG.

  • Check data

    Layers and diameters as JSON, compared with the outer diameter your spec names as its target.

How it works

Four steps to the cable.

  1. Sign up and enter an invoice address

    With your company details and VAT ID. Only what is delivered is charged, on a monthly invoice.

  2. Send the spec

    Send the cable's spec as JSON to the API. An error comes back at once, with its place in your spec.

  3. The generator builds

    Model, cross-section drawing and check report are made with no further step, normally within a few minutes.

  4. Fetch the files

    By request or by webhook. It is charged on delivery; what cannot be built costs nothing.

Turnaround

How long it takes.

Nobody on our side works on it: the generator checks the spec when you call and builds it right after. That normally takes a few minutes. We promise nothing more.

What we cannot deliver costs nothing.

You order rendered pictures of your cables through the API on top. We quote the price before it starts; it is charged on delivery.

The access is open to businesses (section 14 of the German Civil Code). At sign-up you give your VAT ID and confirm that you act as a business. Prices are net.

  2. 02Build your integration with a test key. It returns sample results and costs nothing.
  3. 03Switch to a live key. You pay per delivered job, one invoice a month.

The more, the cheaper

Your price and your limits follow your volume, without an application and without a contract. The stronger of this month and last month counts.

  • To start: list price, 100 requests per 10 seconds.
  • From 50 jobs a month: 20% off, 300 requests per 10 seconds.
  • From 500 jobs a month: 40% off, 1,000 requests per 10 seconds.
